Our Farm
Thank you for looking at supporting local produce and helping to reduce food miles. The highest standards of welfare and environmental concern go towards producing eggs at Grassington Farm for your delicious recipes. Our birds are fed an organic diet and are free to roam acres of organic pasture and woodland. We love seeing them charge outside first thing in the morning, off on their day’s adventures.

Eggs With A Conscience
At Grassington Farm we care passionately about the world we leave to the next generations:
We buy all of our electricity on the farm from 100% renewable sources.
We offset our vehicle usage by investing in sustainable projects around the world.
We have partnered with Fitzjohn’s and Ringmer’s Foodbanks donating hundreds of eggs every week to people in need.

Through our Egg Shack sales we have also supported local charities for many years, such as St Peter and St James Hospice and Chailey Heritage Foundation.
We have been reassured the soya for our hens’ feed is not sourced from the Amazon, but we do want you to be aware that we don’t take the imposing environmental destruction lightly and we completely understand those now wishing to move to a plant based diet. We feel that in producing eggs to the highest welfare and environmental standards we can, we are at least helping the consumer to purchase an ethically produced product, should they still wish to do so.
